How to save thar desert flora

Dramatic change in landscape is taking palaces due to climate changes (Nature, issue 469, 150-152; 2011) that is leading sever disturbance in ecosystem. Thar Desert of north Westran India harbouring many plant species of Prosopis family some of them are endemic and under facing serious threat of extinction. Attack from insect species belonging to families of order Heteroptera, Lepidoptera, Homoptera, Isoptera, and Coleoptera leading various species of plants. Number of Prosopis cineraria the state tree of Rajasthan state a source of livestock feeding decreasing in alarming rate and needs implication of conservation plan  immediately to safeguard the endemic flora of this beautiful state of Thar.
